Travel app downloads have increased by 86%

According to AppFigures, with the gradual easing of restrictions, travel app downloads have increased by 86% and is the fastest growing category in the last year.

TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Zoom represent the top 5 most downloaded apps this month, and the top 10 apps have more than 350 million downloads worldwide, a decrease of 3% compared to the previous month.

In terms of revenue, YouTube, Tinder and HBO Max generated respectively 54 million, 53 million and 50 million dollars. The top 10 apps generated over 313 million dollars in revenue in the US.
